• Packing

Manganese Acetate is packaged in 25kg paper-plastic composite bags.

• Storage and handling

The product should be stored in its original packing or in suitable sealed containers and kept in a clean and dry place.Storage conditions should preferably be a sheltered environment with limited temperature variations and low humidity. Touch the package with water or any other liquid directly will cause the product to cake, should not be stacked in pallets.Under normal conditions, the use of the product does not cause any undue hazard. Precautions must be taken to prevent solid or liquid product to contact with skin and eyes.

• First aid measures

Eye contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Skin contact: Wash with water. Remove contaminated clothing,which should be washed before re-use.

Ingestion: Rinse the mouth with water. Obtain medical attention.

• Fire hazard

Manganese Acetate presents no fire hazard.

• Application

Manganese acetate can be used as a catalyst in a wide variety of different reactions including oxidation reactions, vinyl ester syntheses and polymerisation reactions. The product can also be used in leather tanning and dish washing tablets.

• Physiological properties

The solid or solutions contact with eyes may cause irritability and inflammation. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause slight pain. A large number of take in can cause the nose, throat and upper respiratory tract infection.
